Nah dalam artikel kali ini kita akan membahas tentang can.
“Can” adalah salah satu modal Verbs yang paling umum digunakan dalam bahasa Inggris. “Can” dapat digunakan untuk mengekspresikan kemampuan atau kesempatan, permintaan atau penawaran izin, dan untuk menunjukkan kemungkinan atau ketidakmungkinan.
contoh:
- I can ride a horse. kemampuan
- We can stay with my doughter when we are in Bandung. kesempatan
- She cannot stay out after 9 PM. izin
- Can you hand me the stapler? permintaan
- Any child can grow up to be president. Kemungkinan
penggunaan “Can” dalam Bentuk Present, Bentuk Past, dan Bentuk Future
Kebanyakan modal verbs berperilaku tidak teratur dalam bentuk Past dan Future. Perhatikan tabel di bawah ini untuk belajar bagaimana “can” berperilaku dalam konteks yang berbeda.
