SAAT ini di Eropa dan wilayah utara bumi tengah musim dingin.Salah satu fenomena menarik saat musim dingin adalah salju. Menjadi unik karena kristal-kristal es yang lembut dan putih seperti kapas ini hanya hadir secara alami di negeri empat musim atau di tempat-tempat yang sangat tinggi seperti puncak gunung Jayawijaya di Papua. Kenapa salju secara alami tidak bisa hadir di wilayah tropis seperti negeri kita?

Proses pembentukan salju

Untuk menjawab itu, bisa kita mulai dari proses terjadinya salju. Berawal dari uap air yang berkumpul di atmosfer Bumi, kumpulan uap air mendingin sampai pada titik kondensasi (yaitu temperatur di mana gas berubah bentuk menjadi cair atau padat), kemudian menggumpal membentuk awan. Pada saat awal pembentukan awan, massanya jauh lebih kecil daripada massa udara sehingga awan tersebut mengapung di udara persis seperti kayu balok yang mengapung di atas permukaan air. Namun, setelah kumpulan uap terus bertambah dan bergabung ke dalam awan tersebut, massanya juga bertambah, sehingga pada suatu ketika udara tidak sanggup lagi menahannya. Awan tersebut pecah dan partikel air pun jatuh ke Bumi.

Partikel air yang jatuh itu adalah air murni (belum terkotori oleh partikel lain). Air murni tidak langsung membeku pada temperatur 0 derajat Celcius, karena pada suhu tersebut terjadi perubahan fase dari cair ke padat. Untuk membuat air murni beku dibutuhkan temperatur lebih rendah daripada 0 derajat Celcius. Ini juga terjadi saat kita menjerang air, air menguap kalau temperaturnya di atas 100 derajat Celcius karena pada 100 derajat Celcius adalah perubahan fase dari cair ke uap. Untuk mempercepat perubahan fase sebuah zat, biasanya ditambahkan zat-zat khusus, misalnya garam dipakai untuk mempercepat fase pencairan es ke air.

Biasanya temperatur udara tepat di bawah awan adalah di bawah 0 derajat Celcius (temperatur udara tergantung pada ketinggiannya di atas permukaan air laut). Tapi, temperatur yang rendah saja belum cukup untuk menciptakan salju. Saat partikel-partikel air murni tersebut bersentuhan dengan udara, maka air murni tersebut terkotori oleh partikel-partikel lain. Ada partikel-partikel tertentu yang berfungsi mempercepat fase pembekuan, sehingga air murni dengan cepat menjadi kristal-kristal es.

Partikel-partikel pengotor yang terlibat dalam proses ini disebut nukleator, selain berfungsi sebagai pemercepat fase pembekuan, juga perekat antaruap air. Sehingga partikel air (yang tidak murni lagi) bergabung bersama dengan partikel air lainnya membentuk kristal lebih besar.

Jika temperatur udara tidak sampai melelehkan kristal es tersebut, kristal-kristal es jatuh ke tanah. Dan inilah salju! Jika tidak, kristal es tersebut meleleh dan sampai ke tanah dalam bentuk hujan air.

Pada banyak kasus di dunia ini, proses turunnya hujan selalu dimulai dengan salju beberapa saat dia jatuh dari awan, tapi kemudian mencair saat melintasi udara yang panas. Kadang kala, jika temperatur sangat rendah, kristal-kristal es itu bisa membentuk bola-bola es kecil dan terjadilah hujan es. Kota Bandung termasuk yang relatif sering mengalami hujan es. Jadi, ini sebabnya kenapa salju sangat susah turun secara alami di daerah tropik yang memiliki temperatur udara relatif tinggi dibanding wilayah yang sedang mengalami musim dingin.

Struktur unik salju

Kristal salju memiliki struktur unik, tidak ada kristal salju yang memiliki bentuk yang sama di dunia ini (lihat Gambar SnowflakesWilsonBentley.jpg) ini seperti sidik jari kita. Bayangkan, salju sudah turun semenjak bumi tercipta hingga sekarang, dan tidak satu pun salju yang memiliki bentuk struktur kristal yang sama!

Keunikan salju yang lainnya adalah warnanya yang putih. Kalau turun salju lebat, hamparan bumi menjadi putih, bersih, dan seakan-akan bercahaya. Ini disebabkan struktur kristal salju memungkinkan salju untuk memantulkan semua warna ke semua arah dalam jumlah yang sama, maka muncullah warna putih. Fenomena yang sama juga bisa kita dapati saat melihat pasir putih, bongkahan garam, bongkahan gula, kabut, awan, dan cat putih.

Selain itu, turunnya salju memberikan kehangatan. Ini bisa dipahami dari konsep temperatur efektif. Temperatur efektif adalah temperatur yang dirasakan oleh kulit kita, dipengaruhi oleh tiga besaran fisis: temperatur terukur (oleh termometer), kecepatan pergerakan udara, dan kelembapan udara. Temperatur efektif biasanya dipakai untuk menentukan zona nyaman. Di pantai, temperatur terukur bisa tinggi, namun karena angin kencang kita masih merasa nyaman. Pada saat salju turun lebat, kelembapan udara naik dan ini memengaruhi temperatur efektif sehingga pada satu kondisi kita merasa hangat.

1.Descriptive text merupakan sebuah text dalam bahasa inggris yang memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sesuatu secara rinci. Berbeda dengan report text, yang masih menjelaskan sesuatu secara umum.

2.Baik descriptive text dan juga report text terdiri dari dua generic structure, yaitu identification dan description.

3.Identification dari descriptive text yaitu berisi suatu penjelasan terhadap orang atau benda secara keseluruhan.

Disamping kolam tersebut ada sebuah pohon yang tingginya 2 meter. Pohon itu sangat rindang dan cocok dijadikan tempat beristirahat. Halaman rumah rico juga dikelilingi oleh pagar kayu berbentuk persegi panjang dengan jarak antar pagarnya 30 cm. Warna rumahnya sangat kontras dengan warna halamannya. Rumahnya berwarna kuning dan halamannya berwarna hijau.

REPORT TEXT

1.Report text merupakan sebuah text dalam bahasa inggris yang memiliki tujuan untuk menjelaskan sesuatu secara umum. Berbeda dengan descriptive text, yang menjelaskan sesuatu secara rinci atau detail.

sebelumnya saya ingin mengucapkan banyak terima kasih kepada Bapak (pimpinan), selaku pimpinan direksi yang telah berseida menyetujui surat pengunduran diri saya yang telah saya ajukan pada beberapa hari yang lalu. Meskipun mungkin, hal tersebut merupakan suatu hal yang berat bagi perusahaan, maka begitu pulalah untuk saya pribadi.
Keinginan saya untuk mundur tersebut sebenarnya bukanlah karena dipicu ketidak nyamanan saya bekerja di kantor ini atau pun masalah besaran gaji. Harus saya akui bahwa perusahaan ini merupakan salah satu perusahaan terbaik dan ternyaman sepanjang pengalaman saya pernah bekerja di berbagai perusahaan.

Namun, idealisme saya telah menyatakan lain. Cita – cita ingin menjadi seorang pengusaha yang memiliki usaha sendiri masih kuat di dalam diri saya. Sehingga setelah berpikir panjang dan secara matang, saya telah memutuskan untuk mencoba memulai langkah kecil merancang usaha saya sendiri. Tentu tidak lucu,b jika saya masih bergabung dalam perusahaan ini sementara saya juga sibuk berbisnis sendiri.

Kemudian, saya juga juga tidak lupa untuk mengucapkan banyak terima kasih kepada seluruh rekan – rakan atas kerja sama selama ini. Mungkin divisi logistik tidak akan sebesar ini tanpa kerja keras, pengorbanan dan ide – ide brilian dari rekan – rekan semua. HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE PUDDING

Sebelum memberika contoh mengenai how to make chocolate pudding dalam bahasa inggris, sahabat SBI harus paham terlebih dahulu apa yag dimaksud dengan procedure text dalam bahasa inggris. Apa itu procedure text?

Dalam bahasa inggris, Procedure Text Procedure text is a text that is designed to describe how something is achieved through a sequence of actions or steps.

Dalam bahasa indonesia, procedure text merupakan sebuah text dalam bahasa inggris yang berfungsi untuk menjelaskan cara atau langkah membuat ataupun menggunakan sesuatu.

Procedure text sendiri terdiri dari 3 bagian yaitu Material, equipment dan yang terakhir adalah step atau langkah.

Berikut ini contohnya dan juga terjemahan nya 🙂

HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE PUDDING

Chocolate pudding ingredients :

1 packet gelatin powder

150 g granulated sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 can of sweetened condensed milk chocolate

1 tablespoons chocolate powder

1 liter of water to Cook (pakek fresh milk can also be)

Vla sauce ingredients:

1 can evaporated milk

200 ml fresh milk

4 tablespoons granulated sugar

2 teaspoons flour custard.

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 teaspoons cornflour

How to easily make chocolate pudding

A rather large sized bowl, put all the chocolate pudding ingredients (except sugar and salt), stir until well blended and into solution, then filter. After that, pour into the pan.

Add granulated sugar and salt, then mix until well blended. Cook until boiling on medium heat while stirring occasionally. Lift and let stand until steam heat to dissipate.

Pour a solution of chocolate pudding into the mold that has been moistened with a little water before.For mold/loyangnya to suit your taste.

After that, enter the mold baking pan containing the pudding into the fridge and wait until the pudding is really hard.

For the sauce vlanya, put all the ingredients (except sugar) into a different container. Mix until well blended and slick, then filter.

Put in a saucepan, add sugar, and cook until it explodes–letup and thickened. Remove from the stove and let the sauce cool vlanya first.

First of all let us say praise to hadirah Alloh Swt who gives thousands of favors to us until this day, we can implement event with festivities, full of a strong sense of community, and said gratitude to Allah as Lord of hosts are we worship a step from a small servant. Solawat as well as greetings to our Prophet Muhammad, many gave us a minimal model well and we should emulate.

Before I say something on this greeting, the previous I thank MC that has give to me a time to welcome as Chairman of the implementing the committee (events, etc.) especially for the Committee a solid and always helps me as Chairman of the Committee for a very professional for all my friends. Alhamdulillah, praise over the presence of God Almighty because on this day we can gather in the Hall of this PEDAGOGY in order to commemorate the 5th month of Language with the theme “Let’s Enhance the love and Pride against the Indonesian Language“.

Prayers and greetings may remain expressed to the Lord of our great prophet Muhammad who has brought us from the barbarian to the civilized age.

Before I say Welcome to the Rector of the Fob and the audience that is already present in the event. As listed in the banner that this event is a form of appreciation of the warning Moon 5th language. This event can be done due to the support and effort of all concerned. Therefore, I say thank you to all the organizers who have worked hard to carry out this activity. Thank you also pass on to our Language and Art Education, PEDAGOGY, dekanat-party and party moved into a Fob as well as donors and sponsors of this event, which has supported the full implementation of this event. Perlu diketahui juga bahwa selain seminar bahasa, dalam peringatan Bulan Bahasa ini, kami juga mengadakan beberapa perlombaan sebagai wadah penyalur bakat siswa dalam bidang kebahasan dan kesusastraan. Lebih jauh lagi, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kecintaan para siswa terhadap Bahasa Indonesia. Perlombaan-perlombaan yang dimakasud adalah :

Materials   :

4 eggs

150 grams minced beef

Quotes sendiri memiliki banyak contoh, salah satunya adalah yang akan kita jabarkan berikut ini menjadi sebuah paragraf.

Quotes kali ini akan membahas mengenai Better an egg today than a hen tomorrow, apa kira-kira makna yang terdapat pada proverb tersebut? Langsung saja yuk kita bahas berikut ini!

This proverb “Better an egg today than a hen tomorrow” is relevant. The meaning of that words are about life which unpredictable.
