“Beauty And The Beast”

Once upon a time, in a beautiful place there was a merchant who had three beautiful daughters named, Pretty, Sweety, and Beauty. One day, when the traders would gone to the market, all three daughters asked for something when he returned. Pretty asked him to buy a pretty dress, Sweety asked pearls but Beauty only wanted a rose.

When the merchant finished his business, he quickly went home. However, a sudden storm hit that forced him to stop on the way and seek shelter. Then he saw a large palace but he did not meet to one there, the merchants finally decided to take refuge in the castle.

On the next day, when the storm that blow subsided, the traders decided to continue the return journey. When he wished to get out of the palace, he saw a very beautiful rose contained in the palace garden. Remember his promise to Beauty, he ventured to pluck the roses. But suddenly a figure was with terrible beast out. Beast was angry because he found someone who dared to steal his roses.

Animals that wanted to kill the merchant. But traders beg to apologize to him. Then he told him that he promised to give a rose to her youngest daughter when she returned home.

“I will spare your life, but with one condition, bring your child to me!” The beast word.

The traders came back to his home with his face looked sad. He told the story to his family belong to Beauty.

“Dad, I’ll do anything for my father. Do not worry. I’ll live with it and save the lives of animals Dad!” Beauty said willingly.

Then Beauty began to live with the wild animals in the palace. At first, Beauty afraid of the beast, but then he knew that the beast was actually kind. In a short time, Beauty and the beast had became good friends.

The wild animals felt glad there were women who wanted to live with him. Loneliness experienced by many years was now gone. One day, the wild animals ventured weeks to ask Beauty to be his wife. Surprised, Beauty said no to the proposal from the wild animals. But the beast was not angry about it. Even the next day, the Beast brought the magic mirror to see his family were far away as a gift for her.

And one day, when Beauty was seeing the magic mirror she saw her father was seriously ill. He asked permission from the wild animal to let him take care of his father. Beast that could not refuse the request of the woman he loved. But the beast was requesting Beauty must be returned with in 7 days. Beauty was very grateful and rushed home to his family and take care of his father.

The merchant felt ill because of a broken heart knowing his beloved youngest daughter went and lived with wild animals because they wanted to protect him, his father. When Beauty stayed with him, the trader condition began to improve. However, Beauty forgot his promise to return to the palace within 7 days. In the evenings, Beauty got nightmares. He dreamed that the animals were dying.

Beauty scared, so she decided to return to the palace immediately. In the palace, she found the animal lying on the ground with his eyes closed. Beauty sad, then she hugged the animal and said that she would be her couple. Suddenly a miracle happened. The wild animals magically transformed into a handsome man.

“Actually, I was a prince of the palace. An evil witch turned me into an animal and only true love of a girl who was willing to accept me for that could turned me back to normal. Then the Beauty and the prince got married and lived happily in the palace forever.

“Bawang Merah Dan Bawang Putih”

A long time ago in Sumatra, tere was a village lived a family consisting of father, mother and a beautiful teenage girl named Bawang Putih. They were a happy family. Although Bawang Putih dad just ordinary traders, they lived in harmony and peace. One day Bawang Putih’s mother was seriously ill and eventually died. Bawang Putih was grieving as well as his father.

In the village lived a widow who had a girl named Bawang Merah. Since mother died Bawang Putih, Bawang Merah’s mother often visited to the house of Bawang Putih. She often brought a food, helped cleaning the house and accompanied Bawang Putih. Father like with her. Finally father Bawang Putih thought that might be better if he married the Bawang Merah’s moher, Bawang Putih would feel so lonely anymore.

With consideration of Bawang Putih, then the father married to Bawang Merah’s mother.At the first time, mother of Bawang Merah and Bawang Merah very kind to Bawang Putih. But time passed, they began to look their original nature.

They often scold Bawang Putih and give her a tough job if father Bawang Putih was going to trade. Bawang Putih should be doing all the housework, while Bawang Merah and her stepmother just sitting around. Of course Bawang Putih father did not know it, because Bawang Putih never told.

One day Bawang Putih father fell ill and later died. Since then, Bawang Merah and her mother became more powerful badly and persecution of Bawang Putih. Bawang Putih was almost never rested. She had to get up before dawn, to prepared the water for bathing and breakfast for Bawang Merah and stepmother.

Then she had to feed livestock, watering the garden and washing clothes to the river. She still had to ironing, cleaning the house, and many other jobs. However Bawang Putih always did her job, because she hopes one day her stepmother would love her as her own child.

This morning, as usual, Bawang Putih was carrying basket of clothes to be washed in the river. With little singing, she down a path at the edge of the usual small forest path. The day was very sunny weather. Bawang Putih immediately washed all the dirty clothes she carried.

Because too much fun, Bawang Putih not realize that the clothes had washed, went away. Unfortunately the clothes was favourite clothes of her stepmother. When she realized it, her stepmother’s dress had drifted too far. Bawang Putih tried down to the river to look for it, but could not find it. In desperation, she returned home and told her mother.

“Basic! Ugly! careless!” Snapped her stepmother. “I do not want to know, you have to look for the clothes! And do not dare to go home if you have not found it. Understand?!”

Bawang Putih was forced to obey her half overlying desire. She directly down the river where she washed before. Sun began to set, but the Bawang Putih had not find the clothes. She put up her eyes, carefully examined every overhung roots jutting into the river, that known where she washed the clothes, may be she could find there.

After stepping away and the sun was leaning to the west, Bawang Putih saw a shepherd who was bathing the buffalo. The animals were immediately attacked Bawang Merah and her mother. They cried and screamed. But no one helped them. They were died after that moment. That is the reward for those who are greedy. The end.

In ancient times in Java, there lived a couple of farmers. They lived in a village near the forest. They live happily. Unfortunately they have not only blessed with a single child.

Every day they pray to the Almighty. They prayed for having a child. One day a giant pass their residence. The giant heard the prayer of the couple. A giant then gave her Timun seed.

“Plant this seed. Later you will get a girl, “said the Giant. “Thank you, Giant,” said the husband and wife. “But there are conditions. At age 17 the child should leave you and come to me, “said the Giant. Just because the husband and wife were waiting so long for having a child, they agrred without thought twice.

The farmer’s wife husband then plant the seeds of the Timun in the garden. Every day they took care of the plants start to grow it as good as possible. Months later grew a golden Timun.

Timun was increasingly became large and heavy. When the fruit was ripe, they pick it. They carefully cut the fruit. How surprised they were, in the fruit they found a very beautiful baby girl. The husband and wife were very happy. They named the baby Timun Mas.

Years passed. Timun Mas had grown into a beautiful girl. Both parents are very proud of her. But they became very afraid because when the anniversary Timun Mas reached 17th, the giant would come back. The giant asked their promise to take Timun Mas.

The farmer was trying to calm down. “Wait a minute. Timun Mas Should go to the forest!” “My wife would you call her” he said. Someday, Jaka Tarub later became leaders of village, as Ki Ageng Tarub, and friends with UB king of Majapahit. On a day UB sent keris Kyai Mahesa contagious so treated by Ki Ageng Tarub.

UB messenger who delivered the dagger named Ki Ageng Masahar and Bondan Kejawan, his adopted son. Ki Ageng Tarub know if Mariah Kejawan actuallly by biological was a son of UB. So, the young man was asked to stay together in the village.

Since then Bondan Kejawan be adopted by Ki Ageng Tarub, and renamed Ox Peteng. When Nawangsih growing up, they were married.

After Jaka Tarub died, Ox Peteng would Bondan Kejawan replacet to Ki Ageng Tarub. Nawangsih itself gave birth to a son, who named Ki Getas Pandavas.

Ki Ageng Getas Pandavas then had a son named Ki Ageng Sela, who was as the great gran father of Panembahan Senapati, founder of the Sultanate of Mataram.

Sejarah Asal Mula Bahasa Inggris Yang Menjadi Bahasa Internasional

Nah untuk lebih jelasnya yuk disimak penjelasan dibawah ini:
- Awal Mula Bahasa Inggris
Bahasa Inggris memiliki awal mula kenap bisa digunakan di seluruh dunia loh. Walnya bahasa Inggris lahir di pulau Britania tepat 1500 tahun yang lalu. Bahasa Inggris itu sebuah bahasa Jermanik Barat loh yang berasal dari sialek-dialek Anglo-frisia. Lalu bahasa tersebut dibawa ke pulau Britania di Eropa oleh para imigran Jermanik dari beberapa wilayah barat laut yang sekarang kalian ketahui sebagai Negara Belanda dan Jerman.

“Wah berarti Jerman dan Belanda masih satu kerabat dong dengan bahasa Inggris?” Ya benar sekali, oleh Karena itu banyak sekali persamaan kata dari bahasa Jerman dan Belanda dengan bahasa Inggris.
- Kerajaan Anglo-Saxon
Pernah dengar tentang kerajaan Anglo-Saxon? Wah kalau belum pernah dengar admin kasih tahu deh. Buat yang sudah pernah dengar yuk disimak lagi sejarahnya. Pada awalnya bahasa Inggris kuno itu aslinya adalah sekumpulan dialek-dialek yang mencerminkan asal usul kerajaan Anglo-Saxon di Inggris.

Lalu ada dialek Saxon Barat yang begitu mendominasi yang dipengaruhi oleh dua gelombang invasi apda masa itu yakni:
1. Invasi pertama yang berasal dari para penutur bahasa dari cabang Skandinavia yang merupakan keluarga bahasa Jerman. Pada abad ke 8 dan ke 9 mereka menaklukkan dan menghuni beberapa bagian di Britania.
2. Invasi kedua yang berasal dari suku yang bertuturkan dialek bahasa Perancis pada abada ke-11.
Kedua invasi inilah yang menjadikan bahasa Inggris memiliki banyak kata serapan dari bahasa Jerman dan Perancis. Meskipun tidak pernah menjadi bahasa campuran loh secara harfiahnya. Sehingga kelompok invasi anggota suku bangsa Skandinavia dan suku Norman menciptakan simplikasi tata bahasa baru yang kita kenal sekarang sebagai bahasa Inggris.
- Bahasa Inggris Purba ( Proto)
Bahasa Inggris Purba atau sering juga disebut bahasa Inggris Proto berasal dari suku bangsa Jermanik yakni Saxon, Anglia, Frisia, Jute, dan juga Frank yang pada masa itu berdagang dan berperang di wilayang Eropa dengan rakyat Kekaisaran Romawi yang menuturkan bahasa Latin saat invasi ke Eropa bagian timur.

Plot :
1. Ratu di Galau is a princess who hate by his mother and his sister.
2. Ratu di Galau forbid to go to Punduh Pidada Kingdom Party.
3. Ratu di Galau help by The Fairy Man.
4. Ratu di Galau go to the party and Siwo Mego prince falling in love to her.
5. Ratu di Galau leave the party, the prince come to her kingdom and marry her.
Script :

(Long time ago, in east Lampung there is a kingdom, Sukadano Kingdom. This Kingdom leads by Rajo Tihang King. He has two daughters. The Older one is Jolai Sai Golai. The younger is Ratu Di Galau. Jolai Sai Golai want to be the best, love to ask her sister doing many things. Rajo Tihang also love Jolai Sai Golai more than Ratu Di Galau. Becasuse his wife dies after Ratu Di Galau born. That’s why Jolai Sai Golai is more important than Ratu Di Galau in Rajo Tihang’s life).

Oneday, The King gives a present to Princess Jolai Sai Wawai in front of Princess Ratu Di Galau.

The King         : “Hei, Jolai…! i have a surprise for you ! a beautifull gold siger from Palas

                           Kingdom. I promise, when you wear it, you will be more beautifull !

Jolai                 : “O my God ! How beautifull is it ! Thank you daddy…. you are the best

                           father ever !
Ratu Di Galau : (gloomy)

Not long after that, a person from Punduh Pidada Kingdom sents an invitation to the Sukadano Kingdom.

The King             : “Welcome in Sukadano! what can i do for you ?”
Mr. Soleh             : “o… majesty ! i come here to sent and invitation from the King of Punduh

                            Pidada.”
Ratu di galau       : “ What kind of invitation ?”
Mr. Soleh             : “invitation for beautifull princess. Tomorrow night we will held a party in

                            our kingdom. With pleasure, we invite you all beautifull pricess.”

(A person from Punduh Pidada come back.)

Jolai                     : “ohhh daddy….., i must go to that party.”
The King             : “ofcourse honey, you must come to that party!”

Ratu di galau       : “Daddy, may i go ?”
Jolai                     : “Eh, you??? Want to go ? absolutely not !! look at the mirror, poor you !

                            (push Ratu Di Galau untill she falls)
The King             : “Absolutelly not! I don’t want see your face there . Only Jolai who will

                            attend the party. Get it ?
Jolai                     : “Daddy.., we should prepare everything for tomorrow night. I will wear a

                            gold siger from you. And poor you !!! stay at home and clean the house.”

                            (mocking to Ratu Di Galau).

Ratu Di Galau is sad, She comes to her bedroom and cry. She is really really really want to go to the party. When Ratu Di Galau was crying… suddenly fairy man comes to cheer up her.

Fairy Man            : “Hai, Ratu di Galau ! Why are you sad ?”
Ratu di Galau      : “(surprise) Who are you ??
Fairy Man            : “I am fairy man from the space”
Ratu di Galau      : “Why are you coming here ?”
Fairy Man            : “I come to help kind person like you. Why are you crying ?”

Ratu di Galau      : “I forbid to come to the party tomorrow night, fairy man. I am galauuuu.

Fairy Man            : “alright, cheer up. Don’t be sad.

(and than Harlem Shake team come and Ratu di Galau cheer up again)
Fairy Man            : “Are you okay now dear?”
Ratu di Galau      : “wkwkwkwkwkwkw, what a ridicolous thing fairy man.

Fairy Man            : “Alright Ratu Di Galau, i must go.

Ratu di Galau      : “But fairy man… (fairy man disappear)

Suddenly Jolai Sai Golai comes to Ratu Di Galau bedroom because she feels curious why Ratu di Galau was laughing.

Jolai                     :” Heh poor ! why are you laughing lonely, are you crazy ?

Ratu di Galau      : “oh just so so Ngah, maybe you are right, i am crazy.” (Ratu nervous)

Jolai                     : “Huh crazy poor girl!!!!” (Leave the room)

(After Jolai leave the room, Ratu calls fairy man to come back, she wants to ask something.)

Fairy Man            : *clingggg* , what happen to you call me again a beautiful princess?”

Ratu di Galau      : “hmm, why did you disappear ?

Fairy Man            : “Oh, i only want to meet with someone that i want to meet. Hehehe. Oh,

                            ya, what are you goint to ask me ?”

Ratu di Galau      : “How i can go to that party ? my father and my sister not allow me.”

Fairy Man            : “That is easy ! believe me. *smiling* J

Ratu di Galau      : “Thank you fairy man, you are my hero. cemunguuuuuudddh

                            eeeeaaaaaaa! Ganbateeee (#’-‘)9

Fairy Man            : “eeeeeeaaaaa, ur’welcome *clinggggggg and dissapear*

( In the morning Jolai Sai Golai was busy preparing her self to the party). She is really spiritfull because Punduh Pidada Prince was famous, hansome, and rich. So, Jolai sai Golai want to look prety to fascinating him.)

Jolai                     : ( in front of the mirror ) “If i wear this siger, the prince will falling in love

                            to me.”

Raja                     : ( Come to Jolai room ) “How beautiful my princess is !

Jolai                     : “Of course daddy, i want to look beautifull this night.”

Raja                     : “Alright ! make me proud dear.”

Jolai                     : “Where is that poor girl?? Galauuuu Galaauuu come here!!! ( Shouting to

                            Ratu di galau)

Ratu                     : “Iyaaa Ngah, why are you calling me ??”

Jolai                     : “Take my siger, Quickly !!!!

Ratu                     : “Ok Ngah.

(Ratu take the siger and give it to Jolai Sai Golai)

Ratu                     : “This one Ngah, i’m sorry for waitting.”

Jolai                     : “Poor girl, go out !! i not want to see you.”

(Night come and the party ready to begin. Ratu is sad in her room. Her expectation to go to that party will not happend, and suddenly, fairy man comes.)

Fairy Man            : “Bonjour Ratu. Alohaa.

Ratu                     : “Eh fairy man, i am really happy to see you !”

Fairy Man            : “Kok sepi sih?

(music: Kata Pujangga) (dance)

Fairy Man            : “Why are you sad Ratu?

Ratu                     : “The party was beginning, i can’t go there. I really really want to go fairy

                            man.
Fairy Man            : “well Ratu, i will do something for you. I will change Ratu di Galau

                            become more beautiful like Mulei lappung. Sim salaaaaaaabim hejo

                            agomeu!!!”

(Ratu di Galau look so beautiful, she is happy for coming in the party as beautiful lady)

Ratu                     : “Thank you fairy man, i look sooooooooo beautifull.”
Fairy Man            : Wait a momment Ratu, i have something for you.

Ratu                     : What is that fairy man ?

Fairy Man            : (show a Siger) “This is made from shwaroski diamond, a present from

                            Harlem Shake contest in Youtube.

Ratu                     : “uhwaaaaaaaaw it is so beautifull ! thank you fairy man.

Fairy Man            : “no problem, hey, what time is it? Time to go ! come on !!!

(Fairy Man brings Ratu to that party. Arrive in there, the guest so crowded, traditional dance begin. Not long after that Ratu di Galau come to the hall. All eyes look at her. She is so beautifull, a lot of prince falling in love, one of the is Punduh Pidada prince.)

Prince                  : “Wah……who is that girl ? she is so beautiful.”
(talk to his assistant)

Mr. Soleh             : “ Yes sir, look like Zaskia Gothic

Prince                  : “You know Sholeh, i am falling in love with her.”

Mr. Soleh             : “Ask her to dance, come on my prince !”

Prince                  : “Alright, Wish me Luck.

(The prince comes to Ratu and ask her to dance.)

Prince                  : “Pardon me, i am Punduh Pidada prince, may i know your name beautifull

                            princess ?

Ratu                     : (smiling) i am Ratu di Galau, a princess from Sukadano kingdom.

Prince                   : Princess Ratu, whould you dance with me?

(Ratu accepts the prince request to dance. Music play)

(Music: Flawless bird, American Mouth)

When the prince and Ratu was dancing, Rajo Tihang King and Jolai sai Golai come.

Ratu                     : “i am sorry my prince, i must go!!!

Prince                  : “Wait Ratu!!!!!!!

Ratu runs leave the prince. The prince ask his assistant to bring her back but the assistant failed.

Prince                  : Soleh come here..

Mr. Soleh             : What happend my prince ?

Prince                  : Bring Ratu di Galau back.

Mr. Soleh             : Well done my prince.

(Mr. Soleh comes and bring Ratu’s siger which is falling down when she ran.)

Mr. Soleh             : “I am so sorry my prince, i can’t catch her, but i found this. (give a siger to

                            the prince).

Prince                  : “It belongs to Di Galau princess, i must give it back and meet her.”

Mr.Soleh              : “You right my prince, how if we go tomorrow ?”

Prince                  : “Yes, tomorrow we go to Sukadano Kingdom. Prepare everything, we go

                            earlier tomorrow.”

( The next day, The prince with his assistant go to Sukadano Kingdom and bring Ratu di Galau’s Siger.)

(After several hours, they arrive in Sukadano Kingdom. The King know the prince arrival, he is really happy, he thinks the prince will ask Jolai to marry him. The King calls Jolai.)

The King             : “Jolai…Jolai.. Jolai come here!

Jolai                     : what happend daddy ?

The King             : Look! The prince come to marry you, make over your self, you should

                            look beautifull in front of him.”

Jolai                     : “Oh my prince comes, alright daddy”

(Jolai goes for make up and The King is welcoming him )

The King             : “Welcome in my kingdom Siwomego prince !”.

Prince                  : “A big happiness for us to come to your kingdom my majesty !”

The King             : “i already guess you come here for princess Jolai.”

Prince                  : “Oh no ! my majesty, i want to give this Siger.

The King             : “What do you mean my son ? i do not understand.”

Prince                  : “Soleh ! bring The Siger here !”

Mr. Soleh             : “This one my prince !”

The King             : “Emm… This isn’t Jolai’s”

(And than Jolai comes with Ratu Di Galau.)

Raja                     : “Jolai, is this yours?

Jolai                     : “No daddy, i wear mine now.”

Prince                  : “You right, it is yours, beautifull princess.”

Jolai                     : “Me ??? ( Smilling )

Prince                  : “I’m so sorry, not you. ( The Prince comes to Princes Ratu behind the

                            Jolai). Yes you are, a beautifull prince that dance with me tonight. I come

                            to give this siger.

Ratu                     : Thank you so much my majesty. It is really important for me.

The Prince put the Siger on Ratu di Galau’s head.

Not long after that, The Prince marry to Ratu di Galau princess. They live happily ever after. The King also love her youngest daughter now. To express his love, Siwomego Prince builds a Siger Monument in South Lampung. (happy song)

The hungry wolf squeezed into the hole. It ate all the food. It was a woodcutter’s lunch. He was on his way back to the tree to have lunch. But he saw there was no food in the hole, instead, a wolf. On seeing the woodcutter, the wolf tried to get out of the hole. But it couldn’t. Its tummy was swollen. The woodcutter caught the wolf and gave it nice beatings.

Serigala Yang Kelaparan

Suatu hari, ada serigala yang sangat lapar. Dia mencari makanan di sana-sini. Tapi sang serigala tidak bisa mendapatkan apapun. Akhirnya ia menemukan sepotong roti dan sepotong daging di lubang pohon.

A Town Mouse and A Country Mouse

A Town Mouse and a Country Mouse were friends. The Country Mouse one day invited his friend to come and see him at his home in the fields. The Town Mouse came and they sat down to a dinner of barleycorns and roots the latter of which had a distinctly earthy flavour.

The flavour was not much to the taste of the guest and presently he broke out with “My poor dear friend, you live here no better than the ants. Now, you should just see how I fare! But some one else came in, and off they scuttled again. This was too much for the visitor. “Good bye,” said he, “I’m off. You live in the lap of luxury, I can see, but you are surrounded by dangers whereas at home I can enjoy my simple dinner of roots and corn in peace.”

Tikus kota dan Tikus pedesaan berteman dengan baik. Tikus desa suatu hari mengajak temannya untuk datang dan menemuinya di rumahnya yang beradi di ladang. Tikus Kota datang dan mereka duduk untuk makan malam dari jagung dan akar yang kedua nya memiliki rasa khas bersahaja.

Rasa makanan itu menjadi tidak berasa, saat si tamu berkata “teman terkasih yang miskin, kamu tinggal di sini tidak lebih baik dari semut. Sekarang, kamu hanya harus melihat bagaimana saya makan dengan kenyang! Lemari makan saya terbuat dari tanduk yang banyak. Kamu harus datang dan tinggal dengan saya dan saya berjanji akan hidup pada tanah yang luas. Jadi, ketika ia kembali ke kota ia mengajak tikus desa dan menunjukkan ke lemari makan yang berisi tepung dan oatmeal dan buah ara dan madu dan biji-bijian.

He’s trying to gobble us all up!” The animals all ran away to hide. The elephant wondered what he could do to solve everyone in the forest. Meanwhile, the tiger kept eating up whoever he could find. The elephant walked up to the tiger and said, “Please, Mr. Tiger, do not eat up these poor animals.”

“Mind your own business!” growled the tiger.

The elephant has a no choice but to give the tiger a hefty kick. The frightened tiger ran for his life. The elephant ambled back into the forest to announce the good news to everyone. All the animals thanked the elephant. They said, “You are just the right size to be our friend.”

Keesokan harinya, gajah melihat semua binatang di hutan berlarian keluar hutan. Gajah bertanya kepada mereka apa yang terjadi. Beruang itu menjawab, “Ada Harimau di hutan. Dia mencoba untuk melahap kita semua! ” Hewan-hewan semua lari bersembunyi. Gajah bertanya-tanya apa yang bisa ia lakukan untuk memecahkan semua orang di hutan. Sementara itu, harimau terus makan sampai siapa pun dia bisa temukan. Gajah berjalan menemui ke harimau dan berkata, “Tolong, Tuan harimau, tidak memakan binatang yang malang.”

“Urusi bisnis kamu sendiri!”

Geram harimau. Gajah tidakmemiliki pilihan selain memberikan harimau tendangan yang hebat dan kuat. Harimau yang ketakutan dan berlari untuk hidupnya. Beberapa konglomerat negeri ini seperti Ong Hok Liong (pengusaha rokok) dan Sudono Salim (pemilik Salim Group) juga diisukan pernah melakukan pemujaan di gunung ini ketika usaha mereka mengalami pailit di masa jatuh bangunnya dulu. Entah benar entah tidak, namun yang jelas isu ini sudah sangat berkembang di sana. [Baca Juga : Pesugihan Gunung Kemukus, Sragen – Jawa Tengah] Ritual Pesugihan Gunung Kawi Dari pemaparan seorang kuncen yang belum lama ini saya temui, saya mengetahui bahwa ritual pesugihan gunung kawi sebenarnya hanya dilakukan dengan cara yang sangat sederhana. Para peziarah sekedar diwajibkan untuk melakukan ritual tapa brata selama 3 hari di bawah sebuah pohon keramat bernama pohon Dewandaru. Ritual Pesugihan Gunung Kawi Sebelum melaksanakan tapabrata, peziarah tersebut diwajibkan terlebih dahulu melakukan mandi suci yang dipimpin langsung oleh sang kuncen. Ketika melaksanakan mandi wajib inilah, peziarah itu melakukan kontrak mati atau semacam perjanjian dengan penguasa gaib gunung kawi. Mereka harus bersedia memberikan tumbal nyawa pada sang penguasa setiap tahun untuk melanggengkan kekayaannya. Setelah melaksanakan mandi wajib, para peziarah baru diperbolehkan bergabung bersama para peziarah lain untuk melakukan tapa brata. Mereka harus bersila di atas selembar daun pisang, tidak boleh makan, minum, dan tidur. Mereka pun tidak boleh buang air besar dan buang air kecil kecuali mengeluarkannya di atas daun pisang yang didudukinya. [Baca Juga : Pesugihan Nyi Blorong] Tapa brata dihentikan jika mereka telah dihampiri selembar daun dari pohon Dewandari yang gugur dengan sendirinya. Daun itu harus jatuh tepat di tubuh. Gugurnya daun dewandaru menandakan bahwa keinginan Anda untuk menjadi kaya melalui jalur pesugihan gunung kawi telah disetujui oleh penguasa gaib penunggu pohon dewandaru itu. Namun jika selama 3 hari melakukan tapa brata, petapa tidak kejatuhan daun dewandaru, hal ini berarti keinginan Anda untuk menjadi kaya melalui pesugihan ini tidak diizinkan oleh penguasa gaib Gunung Kawi. Anda akan pulang dengan tangan hampa dan tidak mendapatkan keberkahan dari tapa brata yang Anda lakukan. Orang-orang yang gagal mendapatkan daun dewandaru biasanya adalah orang-orang yang memiliki niat buruk dan sebetulnya tidak terlalu butuh karena secara ekonomi sudah berkecukupan. Sedangkan orang yang berhasil memperoleh daun dewandaru adalah mereka yang benar-benar sudah dalam posisi sulit, terlilit hutang, dan mengalami kesulitan dalam bidang ekonomi. Kisah Nyata Persembahan Tumbal Setelah menjalani ritual pesugihan gunung dan mendapatkan selembar daun dewandaru, petapa harus pulang dan menyimpan daun yang didapatkannya itu di dalam bantal tempat tidurnya. Selain itu, ia juga harus membuka usaha dagang. Daun dewandaru yang disimpannya dalam bantal akan membantu melariskan dagangan, menambahkan uang secara gaib ke dalam laci penyimpanan uang, dan membantu melancarkan usaha tersebut secara spiritual
